Qing Lu, Ph.D

I am a Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at University of Florida. My research interest research interests are primarily in statistical genetics and statistical/machine learning. One area of research is to develop statistical/machine learning methods (e.g., tree and deep learning) for high-dimensional data analyses (e.g., genetic data analysis). In parallel with statistical/machine learning research, I am also interested in developing and applying statistical methods (e.g., U-statistics). In addition to developing new methods, I collaborate with other researchers to investigate various biomedical and public health research questions.
